Cheap Car Insurance for Under 25's
Cheap car insurance for the under 25's, especially those with less than three years no claims.
Every year I forget to sort my car insurance out until the day of renewal is upon me and I have to spend a few hours going to dozens of websites and phoning multiple companies to try and find the best deal for my car.
Anyone who has tried to get cheap insurance while being under the age of 25 will no the feeling of filling in all your information multiple times only to be quotes over £1000 for one years insurance, and of course they will be charging you 10%+ on top of that for monthly direct debit and then you will be charged for legal cover and again for breakdown cover.
On this page I will tell you how to get the best deal from the multiple insurance companies who are fighting for your business and can easily be played off against each other to get a really good deal on your car insurance.

The first step is to go to two sites that compare several companies for you. The main bonus of this is that you only have to put your details in once to get up to 20 results.
http://www.insuresupermarket.com
http://www.confused.com
After visiting these two sites it is worth noting the cheapest two quotes from each site (or cheapest four if you have more time) and visiting their own official websites to see if they will offer you any further discounts.
Other sites you may want to check as they don't always appear on the two mentioned above are:
http://www.tescofinance.com/personal/finance/
https://www.sainsburysbankcarins.co.uk/
https://www.aainsurance.co.uk/insurance/AA/CarQuote/Affinity/Default/index.asp
You should always try several different possibilities with each quote to see what affect you can have on it. For instance if you reduce the excess payment by £50 what happens to the price of the quote. If there is only a small increase in it then you may want to go with with a smaller excess. You can also try the trick of adding an older member of the family as a second driver. By adding a driver with more experience than you it often evens out the two experience levels and can take a large chunk off your premium. Note that I have also seen this raise the price of a premium.
Once you have your four cheapest quotes from all the websites you have checked you need to phone all four and see if they can beat their online quote and even the quotes of other companies. If they say that they cannot reduce the price of the quote then ask if they can make monthly payments interest free or even include breakdown cover more cheaply or even for free.
The people who you speak to on the phone do have a certain amount of choice when it comes to reducing quotes but it is unlikely to be more than 15%. Remember though that at the end of the day they are working towards sales targets and even bonuses so push a little on them but not too much!
So you have phoned all four companies and you have their very best quotes? Well then I'm hoping at this point that you now have a shockingly cheap car insurance quote. No? well I can't suggest anything further for your insurance but I may be able to suggest a way to get very cheap breakdown cover. How does £28 for a year sound? Average? Well not when it includes all this:
Free cover for a spouce(only if you have one)
An average call out time of 37 minutes
Everyone pays £29 no matter how old, experienced or what car you drive
Refunds you for all payments you make within 14 days
If your car can't be fixed it will provide transport for up to 6 people to your destination
Pays for labour and recovery but not parts
AutoAid Recovery are available on 0870 240 6635
